A kitchen remodel is one of the highest-value improvements you can make to your home — and one of the most disruptive if it's not managed properly. MJD runs the whole project: strip-out, structural changes, plumbing, electrics, tiling, fitting, and decoration. We work with your chosen kitchen supplier or can recommend trusted local options, and we don't consider the job done until everything works exactly as it should.

We coordinate every trade in-house — plumbing, tiling, electrics, carpentry, and decoration — so you have one team responsible for the whole job from start to finish. Complete remodels are the most complex projects we undertake — and the most rewarding. Whether it's a full internal reconfiguration, a period property transformed from top to bottom, or a high-specification new fitout, MJD has the experience to manage every stage. We act as the main contractor, coordinate all trades, and give you a single point of contact from demolition to final decoration.

Renovations cover everything from structural steelwork and load-bearing wall removal to full replastering, damp treatment, and complete room refreshes. MJD has a strong background in structural building work and knows how to coordinate the specialist trades — structural engineers, building control, damp specialists — that larger renovation projects require. We don't just fix what's visible; we address the underlying cause.
Landscaping Landscaping
From patios and driveways to complete front-to-back garden redesigns, MJD transforms outdoor spaces that have been neglected or simply never quite worked. We handle everything: design, groundworks, paving, turfing, planting, drainage, and boundary treatments. Every project starts with understanding how you actually want to use the space — not just what it looks like on a plan.
Flooring Flooring
New flooring changes a room immediately — but only if it's fitted properly. MJD installs hardwood, engineered oak, LVT, laminate, and porcelain tile across all room types. Crucially, we also prepare the subfloor correctly — levelling, screeding, and damp treatment where needed — so the floor doesn't move, creak, or fail. A floor that's properly installed is one you won't need to think about again.
Carpentry Carpentry
Carpentry is in our name for a reason. Before MJD became a full building company, carpentry was the foundation — and it still is. We build fitted furniture, bespoke wardrobes, staircases, alcove shelving, structural framework, and garden outbuildings that are made to the exact dimensions of your space. Not catalogue-bought and trimmed to fit. Made properly.
