The Brief
Kat's ground floor was too compartmentalised for the way she lived. The kitchen felt disconnected from the garden and too small for a family. She wanted to extend at the back, open up the layout, and bring in natural light — all within a Permitted Development footprint. The result needed to look considered, not like a rushed add-on.
